CINEMATOGRAPHY
I have worked as a Cinematographer on a variety of productions including short films, documentaries, music videos and promo/marketing videos. I am a full member of the Australian Cinematographers Society.
I enjoy creating stylised looks by painting with light. I try to create visually interesting images to match the mood and tone of any production. Whether it be an interview for a documentary, a corporate presentation, dramatic scene for a short film, I will collaborate with my client(s) to achieve the required look.
I am familar with SD/HD/4K Ultra HD workflows shooting with the current line of digital cinema cameras including Red Epic/Scarlet Arri Alexa, Panasonic Varicam, Blackmagic, Canon 5D/C100/C300, Sony A7s. I have also worked with Broadcast ENG/EFP cameras and 16mm film using Aaton LTR and Arri SR cameras.
LIVE EVENT, CORPORATE & MULTI-CAMERA PRODUCTIONS
I have experience with all aspects of multi-camera live event production including camera operating and overseeing the more technical aspects including audio and lighting inside venues.
I can come on board as a Technical Producer to determine and oversee all technical requirements for live internet streaming and TV broadcast of live events. This can include multi-camera coverage, projection to live screens or pre-recording for post production editing, DVD production and duplication.
EDITING & POST-PRODUCTION
Experienced with all aspects of video editing, colour grading, motion graphics and sound mixing. My post-production suite is capable of all formats from analog (archive material) to 4K ultra HD.
DVD/BLURAY AUTHORING & DUPLICATION
Interactive DVDs and Bluray discs are still a great way to present mixed media content in a self contained format. I can oversee all DVD/Bluray production requirements, including the design of interactive menus with motion graphics and duplication with printed artwork in small or large quantities.
MEDIA CONVERSION
Do you have archive material or old home movies recorded on older formats that you would like to have digitised?
I can convert archive footage from most formats to digital files for use in editing projects or create interactive DVD/Blurays of your content. I can also enhance and colour-correct old vision to remove the un-natural colour casts often seen in home movies shot with the incorrect white balance.
